I ordered a Stopbox Pro when they ran the BOGO sale so I could get an extra for my dad. It's not as heavy duty as I expected, but will certainly keep children and house guests out. Opening and closing is straight forward. Most of my pistols fit fine, however my Glock 34 which has a TTI magwell does not close easily. Also the Glock 34 does not fit with the TTI magazine extension, so it would need to be stored without the mag inserted. For transparency, the G34 is not my defense weapon, all the pistols that I use for carry or home defense fit perfectly. This is certainly a feasible solution for quick access on the night stand, desk, or kitchen counter - and given the BOGO sale this is a good value.

Good so far. When taking it apart to switch the passcode, a spring shot across the room. Watch out for this. Otherwise good so far. Used to store Glock in workshop.

As a new gun owner I was always intrigued by the StopBox for it's quick accessibility and affordability. When I went to purchase my home storage, they were my first stop, having purchased the StopBox Pro and Compact. The Pro is a great size for a luger style 9mm with any attachments. It also holds clips conveniently and has a storage compartment as well. The compact is perfect for my 38 special, but I wouldn't recommended it for anything bigger. If I had the p320 in the compact, the flashlight would barely fit and there wouldn't be room for magazines, etc. What blows me away about each is the quality of the build, and how easy it is to access. You can set your code relatively easily too. Really big fan, highly recommended these products.
