How many possible finger combinations are there?
There are 81 possible finger combinations you can use to unlock your StopBox, and up to 324 combinations if you include pressure-sensitive “half presses.”
Can I take my StopBox with me on an airplane?
Yes: each StopBox is TSA-compliant, so travel is easy with your firearm stored in a StopBox and checked in your luggage. Just make sure to follow TSA guidelines for packing your firearm and ammunition!
Why isn't the StopBox all-metal?
When creating the StopBox, we chose impact-resistant polycarbonate-ABS because of its unique ability to withstand being hit with hammers, dropped from heights, and run over by a car… all while being super lightweight.
We wanted a lightweight, portable box that was impact, heat, scratch, dent and pry resistant, and after rigorous testing, polycarbonate-ABS plastic proved outstanding in these categories (due to its unique tensile strength, and dimensional stability).
The result is a steel-and-glass-reinforced polycarbonate shell: the best of both strength and portability.
